We have seen cricket teams get choked in matches on numerous occasions. Teams may choke with the ball, and they make choke with the bat.
But is funny and impossible to believe when you hear that a team got out for a total of 3. History has indeed been made for the lowest total ever in all of cricket. In a domestic One Dayer between Wirral cricket club and Hassington Cricket club, Wirral bowled Hassington out for a low total of 108.
At this stage everyone would have thought Wirral were on course to grab an easy win with a comfortable chase. But look what happened, all but one player in the starting 11 got out for a duck. Wirrall finshed with a total of 3, which included just 1 run scored of a batsman’s bat, and 2 of extras.

Wirral captain Pete Clewes, said post match that it was a woeful performance, one that will haunt them forever.
“We bowled and fielded exceptionally well. We got them all out for just 108, and we were heading in to bat with sky high confidence.
I don’t know but it all went horribly wrong, and for some reason, each and every one of our batsmen played quite atrociously. It is shocking and extraordinary” said the Wirrall skipper.
It seemed as if, one after the other, every batsmen kept panicking and getting out. This is indeed the most shocking cricket innings you will ever see or hear of.
