Shiv Sena storms BCCI office ahead of talks with PCB
MUMBAI: Shiv Sena workers on Monday stormed the office of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai to protest BCCI officials meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials, Samaa reported quoting Indian media.
According to the reports, the protesters of hardline Hindu nationalist party were holding placard bearing slogan “Shaharyar Khan Go Back”, referring to PCB Chairman.
Shiv Sena fanatics threatened that they would not allow cricket series between Pakistan and India.
On the latest development, the former Pakistani skipper Amir Sohail said that foreign offices of both the countries need to talk on the issue.
