KAREENA has been roped in IPL fifth season opening ceremony at the YMCA Grounds to spice up the event.
Kareena will groove some foot-tapping numbers from her own hit films as well recent released film ‘Agent Vinod’ and other films.
Besides the actress some big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Prabhudeva are added in the list to add stardom in the ceremony simultaneously international singer Katy Perry will also perform there to add flavor in IPL fifth season.
Great even will be organized on 4th of April and it seems stadium is going to jam packed despite the ticket price starts from Rs. 1500. Tickets can be purchased from IPLT20.com.
The IPL will be held from 4th of April to 27th of May. Nine captains will bet their team’s luck on ground during 76 games which will be played across 12 different locations.
However, just like a dramatic play is somewhat incomplete without a prologue, IPL appears half-baked without a glitzy ipl opening ceremony. This romantic night activity follows a trend where a cascade of superstar performers merges on the stage and takes the spectators’ breath away with their wealth of talents. The fireworks, festoons and razzmatazz are all part of high-scale opening.
On the 3rd, legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan will take center-stage as host for the opening ceremony of ipl 2012. The thespian is leaving no stones unturned in preparing for the night, even though he had two abdominal surgeries in the recent past. He will be given solid company by heartthrob Salman Khan and screen scorcher’s Priyanka Chopra & Kareena Kapoor. To put the exotic icing on this cake, celebrated international performer Katy Perry will be a part as well.
The ipl opening ceremony 2012 event will be held in Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai and graced by captains of all nine teams. They will also take the MCC Spirit of Cricket pledge in faith, to ensure a fair tournament. The IPL Opening Ceremony 2012 Tickets are priced at INR 1500 and yet people will swarm the gates hours before 7:30, the scheduled time for start.
